Oltre la malattia

Auguri di Buone Feste

La “speranza” è un essere piumato
Emily Dickinson

La “speranza” è un essere piumato –
che si posa sull’anima –
e canta melodie senza parole –
e non finisce mai – del tutto –

E dolcissimo – nella Bufera – si ode,
E intensa deve essere la tempesta –
che potrebbe confondere l’Uccellino
che così tanti ha riscaldato –

L’ho ascoltato nella terra più fredda –
E sul Mare più strano-
Eppure, mai, nel Bisogno,
ha chiesto una briciola – di Me.

“Hope” is the thing with feathers

“Hope” is the thing with feathers –
That perches in the soul –
And sings the tune without the words –
And never stops – at all –

And sweetest – in the Gale – is heard –
And sore must be the storm –
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm –

I’ve heard it in the chillest land –
And on the strangest Sea –
Yet, never, in Extremity,
It asked a crumb – of Me.

SempreDonna augura a tutte voi un sereno Natale e un 2013 di speranza
